A Pilot's Adventures in Ultralight Airplanes

Ben Cole starting flying ultralight airplanes in early 1980s and
after a few exciting and interesting experiences starting writing
about them as well. After obtaining his private pilot's license and
flying and owning and several larger conventional aircraft over the
next decade he realized that flying ultralight-type aircraft was
more challenging and enjoyable. Even though they were much slower
and more subject to winds and weather, he made many long cross-country
trips in various aircraft that he built. In 2000 he took off from this
backyard airstrip, Bent Tube Airport, in Suwanee, Georgia and
proceeded to fly to and land in every state including Alaska.
This book is about that trip and many of his other experiences and
adventures over the years.
